“The Creative Services division of the Office of University Communications helps tell the university’s story through the use of effective design strategies and techniques… offering services that cover a range of design needs, from print to digital, ensuring materials are compliant with the university’s brand.”
In my tenure, I established successful partnerships with cross-campus clientele and high-level partners (including the Office of the President, the Office of Admissions, the Division of Student Affairs, Governmental Relations, WFSU) in the production of numerous publications, event materials, graphics, signage, and social media content.
I’m proud to have taken part in refreshing the university’s brand platform and website (fsu.edu), and ensured visual identity standards were upheld in media produced throughout the university.
Inspired by the seasons and the school year, my colleague (Marc Thomas) and I conceptualized and designed a triptych unique to Florida State’s culture. The first panel represents the university’s Flying High Circus shows in the spring, the second panel represents commencement in the summer, and the third panel represents home football games in the fall. The original artwork lives in the Westcott building’s Creative Services suite, and a duplicate is on display in the university’s Office of Admissions.
